Pomme puree

Pomme Puree is a French term used for mashed potato. Often called by it’s slightly posher name Pomme Puree due to the French method of preparation.

Boiled potato usually bound with butter and or cream, with various additional flavours commonly used.

Sometimes referred to as Paris mash although Paris mash is known for an extremely high content of butter, creating a puree more than a mash.
