Crema Catalana
Crema Catalana, also known as Crème Brûlée which translates to burnt cream.
The Crema Catalana variation originates from the Catalan part of Spain and is traditionally flavoured with lemon or orange zest and cinnamon. It consists of Cream and or milk cooked and set with egg yolks, similar to a custard.
Traditionally it was only served on St Josephs however now it is a very common dessert in modern restaurants worldwidCre.
