Carpaccio
Carpaccio traditionally consists of very thin slices of raw beef layered on a plate with lemon, olive oil, and shavings of white truffle or Parmesan cheese, croutons and herbs.
The meat typically used for carpaccio would be beef fillet, however today the term carpaccio can be affiliated with any preparation using very thinly sliced raw meat, fish, vegetables and fruit. Usually seasoned with olive oil, salt, pepper and lemon juice.
