Greg Lightfoot

With over 25 years’ experience in all facets of the hospitality industry, Greg has extensive skills in leadership and operations. Coupled with his love for food and wine, Greg is an asset and great mentor to new faces of the industry.

Greg began his career as a waiter in Melbourne and London. His brief stint as a chef prompted him to get back to the floor, where he was lured into wine. A Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommelier, Greg was part of the team that got Vue de Monde their 3 hats and back-to-back “Restaurant of the Year” awards.

He worked in many roles in the Rockpool family: in management, as a sommelier, and in training and development. He made his mark in the business side of the industry at Santé Wines as an Area Manager. He also works as a wine educator and winery tour operator.

The extensive network in F&B that Greg has cultivated all these years continue to look upon him as a trusted voice in the world of wine.
